It is basically a plate inverted by 90° relative to Sea Urchin.
An outer layer of shield material has been formed on the surface of our product through the process of passivation creating a shell against corrosion.
Advantages:
- Finishing: grey matte
- 4mm metal thickness: an essential prerequisite in order to avoid causing damage on the carabiners and increase the corrosion resistance
- Greater tensile and shear strength >30kN
- Certificates : EN 795:2012, EN 365: 2004
- Both variations are highly resistant to saline corrosion and have been marked with an “anchor" to signify this
Additionally, some of these variants hold a UIAA V4 Safety label, which is the latest revision to the UIAA's 123 Rock Anchor certification. This was a major update to the UIAA standard for rock anchors, focusing on stress corrosion cracking (SCC) caused by atmospherically induced factors.
