The Pelagus Table is created for sociability and comfort. The teak tabletop has rounded edges where it meets the Hunter Green or Light Ivory powder-coated aluminum. Comfortably seating 6 or 8 people, it can be extended for up to 4 more, with the addition of one or two extension plates (sold separately) which can be neatly stored in the frame underneath the tabletop.
Pelagus has a graceful contemporary expression that sits lightly in nature and holds its own in urban environments. The collection is high on comfort and versatility. It is furniture that suits a lifestyle as diverse as that lived in urban cosmopolitans or far from the city and grounded in nature.
The Pelagus Series was designed by Note Design Studio, a multi-disciplinary studio based in Stockholm with a holistic approach to product design. The studio consists of a team of architects, industrial and special designers who take an approach to furniture design that considers the architectural and special context.
