This is a Memphis-Style Zig Zag Table Lamp, designed by Shui L.D. Chan for Massive Elite in 1984. This example dates to the 1980s and was produced in Taiwan by Lite Up Industries. Chan is a Hong Kong based designer whose designs can be found in the collections of the Musée du Louvre and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). This cubic-style, moveable lamp has a rectangular base that is topped with 8 triangles. The case of the piece is composed of black ABS plastic. A system of ball joints allows for it to be articulated in 18 different ways. Each element can be rotated, allowing one to control the direction of the halogen light.

This lamp measures 19.69 inches deep, 7.09 inches wide, and 14.57 inches high. The piece is in good working condition, having some light scratches and slight fading to the black plastic. Overall, the lamp is in great shape. Please see photos.
